Vision Statement

MESA provides students with the essential skills and resources to achieve success in school, career, life and STEM-related disciplines. MESA welcomes all students and actively recruits ethnic minorities and females as they are often underrepresented in STEM fields such as computer science and engineering.  MESA mobilizes and aligns the resources of diverse educational institutions, industry and other partners to create and implement an integrated program that maximizes impact and outcomes.

Activities

This year we are participating in the SeaPerch competition! We are currently working on building our Remotely Operated Vehicles that will perform a variety of tasks underwater.

STEM Events

Physics Day at Lagoon is on Friday, May 17. We will be building mouse trap cars to participate in a mouse trap car competition at Lagoon. 

We will be attending the STEM Fair at BYU on Saturday, February 23. 

This event is free for students. A bus will be provided. Students are responsible for their own lunch. 

Permission slips need to be turned in to Ms. Mott by Friday, January 25.
